I have always looked at different things like products or websites or even restaurant services wondering why the creators made the choices that they did to create that specific experience. 

 

I geek out over the organized and flawless execution of an In-n-Out kitchen as well as the packaging of a new board game because the box now has a particular cut that makes it easy to open without tearing.

 

It’s never occurred to me that any of these quirks I have can actually be a career. When I was suggested to pursue UX, I soon learned that my obsessions and attention to detail would be relevant in the field. 

 

Thankfully, through my UX journey, I’ve learned that not only am I not crazy, (or at least, not alone in my craziness) but I can design seamless and thoughtful experiences for others.
